So if you f*** up some how do not blame it on me! * This is my FIRST ever write up so there might be some errors and what not. Anyways after getting so many PM's about my Foot well lights i decided to just make a write up on the way I approached this. (you can do it your way if you like or just modify some of my steps.) I took some pictures during my install for reference so i might as well make a easy write up. *Wiring it to the domelight will turn the lights on whenever the dome light is on. So when you open/close the door, lock/unlock the car OR if you hit the switch on the dome light to turn it on. The lights have the neat fading effect the domelight has. The mod is very cheap to do it cost me about 10bucks which was basically the CCFL's and shipping. I used about 6ft of speaker wire with some left over. The info provided in this write up is based on the 2007 Toyota camry SE WITH moonroof. Step 1. Locate the Domelight. It is between the moon roof and the rear view mirror.  Step 2. Examine the domelight. On the end TOWARDS the windshield, get your fingers or something thin (such as a flathead screwdriver) to pry it down a bit and than use your fingers to get a good grip and pull down towards the ground. There are 2 clips which. This might take some effort, dont be afraid to pull. Once you hear the clips pop out than STOP. There will be 2 more little clips which you have to push them in to pull the dome light down. (look at pic below)  3. The circuit board of the domelight will look like this. You want to wire it directly to the middle light. Positive (when the circuit board is UPWARDS in rest position will be towards the rear and the negative will be towards the front.  4. I soldered some normal speaker wire (16ga i think) directly to the circuit board and than covering the wires up with some electrical tape (not in pic)  5. Here is the frustrating part. Get a coat hanger and unbend it and tie the wire to the one end of the coat hanger and push it across the roof between the headliner.   6. Eventually it will make it to the other side.   7. Since i used 16ga wire i ran it along the door gasket which leads directly to the kicker panel. (fits nice and snug between the gasket)    8. Now keep running the wire down and it will reach the kick panel. Congratulations now you have the wires from your dome light down to your kick panel. Now you can hook the wire up to some CCFL's, Neons or LED. What ever you wish to use just hook up the positive and negatives a there ya got your self some footwell lights that turn on/off when the door opens. And turns on/off when you lock/unlock your car. The lights also fade and if you can turn it on/off with the door closed using the "On , Door , Off" switch on the domelight itself. Sorry if i have too much or too little info, this is my very first write up and i hope it helps you guys. Here are the final pics.   BTW i got the CCFL's from www.Case-mod.com Also i would like to give some credit to Netforcer as he did this mod way before me and he has info on his cardomain which helped me with this mod.
